I discovered this exquisite creature in the background of a photo of someone else I intended to paint. I can't believe I almost missed her. Above are the steps to the development to date of this painting and I once again find myself struggling with the dilemma "to complete in colour or quit now?" This is the only downfall to working with grisaille.
